What ever happened to the 1st half and 2nd half topp 200 tournaments?

Who knows...

I've turned down RQ tickets a few times because the venues were just too far away (i.e. Playoffs).

They told me that if I don't want the ticket, I'll still get the points...and the top 200 players compete in a tournament.

So it has been mentioned to me very recently. I'm guessing it's still on.

Some information or an announcement would be nice, though. Seems like we're all kind of in the dark.

We had posted the new Top points rules on the website at the begining of the year but it was brought to our attention they they have been "lost" during the site updates.

In the past we hosted tournaments for the top 200 players. These tournaments had sad showing of only about 40-55 players.

For 2008 we are no longer hosting tournaments but awarding prizes to the top 3 points leaders for the 6 month period.

1st place will be hotel and a seat at the 2009 National TOurnament

2nd & 3rd place will be seats to the National Tournament

The points leader for the year will receive transportation to the National Tournament.

We are working with the web master to get the information back on the site.
